A deeper fold shortens the visible crown and adds fabric around the forehead or ears. Try it without stretching the knit excessively. Choose the depth that feels comfortable and gives the coverage you want; a different fold does not change the stated fibre composition.

Do not infer composition from appearance. Check each piece's label, particularly if you want a specific fibre or need to avoid one.

Follow the washing and drying label. Avoid pulling wet fabric or applying unapproved heat; if flat drying is specified, lay it without tension on a suitable surface.
